Centricity Research Acquires Lucas Research

Centricity Research, a clinical research network, announced it has acquired Lucas Research, a clinical research organization and medical practice.

With over 35 offices across North America, Centricity Research conducts Phase I-IV clinical research pharmaceutical, biotechnology, inpatient, outpatient, and medical device trials in over 20 therapeutic areas.

The acquisition is one of five for Centricity and will provide the company with organizational reach.

“The acquisition offers contract research organizations (CROs) and sponsors access to more than 35 clinical research sites, reaching 8.5 million geographically and ethnically diverse patients, and over 155 experienced investigators […],'“ stated the press release.  

Lucas Research focuses on both the research and treatment of a range of health areas including cardiovascular illnesses, women’s health, infectious diseases, gastroenterology, weight loss, diabetes, and different types of endocrine diseases.
